I've been working on this Nordic inspired blacksmithing project in my evenings the past few months. This project was allot of fun and I learned a ton of stuff from it that I want to apply in some future projects. I modeled everything in Maya and sculpted the assets in Zbrush. I tried Rizom UV for this project and really liked some of the results even though I still altered the UV's in Maya. I really liked some of the tools and found it really interesting to see the workflow with Rizom. I baked all the maps in Marmoset Toolbag 3 and textured everything in Substance Painter. Some procedural/patterns were made in Substance Designer and I used Photoshop for making any stencils that were needed. I want to thank everyone on Twitch that gutted this one out with me and those in the community that gave me a ton of feedback.
Cheers :)
